Tulita

Tulita is a traditional community located 523 air kilometers southeast of Inuvik and 624 km northwest of Yellowknife. The community is situated on the east bank of the Great Bear River where it meets the Mackenzie River. The community has a population of 510 people.

• Speech and language pathologist services provided by the Beaufort Delta Health and Social Services Authority.

Hospital Access

While Tulita has a well equipped health centre and social services office, medical emergencies require that residents leave the community for hospital services.
