Fort Good Hope is the oldest settlement in the lower Mackenzie Valley and is located 805 km northwest of Yellowknife and 145 km northwest of Norman Wells. The community has a population of 585 people.

Hospital Access

While Fort Good Hope has a well equipped health centre and social services office, medical emergencies require that residents leave the community for hospital services.
