Colville Lake

Colville Lake is a traditional community located 745 air km northwest of Yellowknife. The community has a population of 142 people.

Services include:

• Receives health and social services from the Fort Good Hope Health Centre, within its own health clinic.
• Contract services from private dentist in Norman Wells.
• Physician visits once a month.
• Physiotherapist and occupational health therapist visits once per year.
• Vision specialist visits approximately once a year.
• Speech and language pathologist services provided by the Beaufort Delta Health and Social Services Authority.

Hospital Access

While Colville Lake receives excellent health and social services from Fort Good Hope, medical emergencies require that residents leave the community for hospital services.
