About Us
The Sahtu Health and Social Services Authority is a relatively new and vibrant organization created through legislation in October 2003 and became responsible to deliver health and social service programs in the Sahtu region in April 2005. A small Authority comprising of approximately 60 employees, we challenge the status quo looking for ways to deliver Excellent Health and Social Care in a rural and remote environment. We hire competent, enthusiastic people that believe and practice our organizational values of having: a commitment to serve and learn, respect and trust.
